Violin Vista is designed to be beginner-friendly while adapting seamlessly to users as they progress toward advanced levels.

Learning Philosophy

For beginners, the app focuses on building a clear understanding of the violin fingerboard and its relationship to staff notation. It helps users connect what they see, read, and play.

As skills develop, Violin Vista provides structured practice tools, a built-in Examination Mode to accelerate learning, and focused intonation training that helps players master pitch accuracy quickly and confidently.

Getting Started

Upon first launch, Violin Vista may request Microphone Access. This is required for:

• Intonation / Tuner Mode (Mode 3)
• Examination Mode (Mode 4)
• Staff Pitching (Mode 5)

Note: Microphone access is not required for visual-only practice modes like Finger Chart or Sight Reading.

Hardware Requirements

• Violin: Required for Intonation and Examination modes.
• Headphones: Recommended for clear audio feedback during practice.
• Device: Works on iPhone and iPad (up to 7 positions display on iPad).
